South Korea’s popular K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK has set a historic record with the release of their new album. Their third mini-album, “BORN PINK: DEADLINE”, achieved the highest first-week sales ever for a K-Pop girl group.
According to sales tracking platform Hanteo Chart, from February 27 to March 5, the album sold a total of 1,774,577 copies. This marks a new milestone in first-week sales, surpassing the group’s previous release, BORN PINK, by nearly 230,000 copies.
